There are certain places in the world where one is surprised
by a new clearer look at color. This was the case on my recent
visit to the South Pacific. Visiting islands south of the Equator
and north of the Tropic of Capricorn, gave me a fresh palette
of amazing intensity. These works are part of a series of 22
pieces about this area of the world. As I continue on in my journey
as a painter, the offerings of color never cease to amaze me.
