I was recently honored to have the above words written about my work. They really sum up what I am trying to do with paint. I am fascinated by hues and currently these hues are from the South Pacific. What a joy it is to work with these colors! I look forward to the challenge of balancing color, form and energetic brushwork.

I try to get spirituality into my works and give the viewer some sort of meditative experience when viewing the works. The results of using the simple variables of pigment, surface, and brush are always amazing to me.
