Hope Soars Over All Joyce Wenglowski
2005-2007
The Northern Westchester Hospital Cancer Treatment and Wellness
Center is the site of a new 18’ interactive painting
created by Joyce Wenglowski. The work was a collaboration
between Wenglowski and the hospital. The painting titled: Hope
Soars Over All, offers visitors, patients and staff
an opportunity to write the name of a loved one on the back
of a separate golden painted shore bird. The bird is then
glued onto the actual painting, which contains abstracted
imagery of mountains, trees, bright sky and waves.
